Staffordshire Wins Title
Staffordshire won the English County Golf Championship, when. with 25 counties, each represented by three players instead of four As previously, playing 36 holes by strokes on the Moortown course, near Leeds, they totalled (52 Yorkshire were second with 155 and Lancashire, the holders, third with 459.
