Employees not quite recovered from the shock of the explosion which occurred on Sunday evening, received another shock carly yes- terday morning when a series of loud explosions occurred in the Sorting Room of the General Post Once and flashes of flame follow ed.
The Fire Brigade was soon on the scene. Postmer carried out the bags that were not affected by explosions, and it was revealed- later that from five to six baga were damaged by flames or water.
A clerk who was near the mail bags just before the explosion oc- curred, was thrown on the floor by the force of the first blast and as a result suffered injuries to the forehead.
Police were also on the scene and were of the opinion that the ex- plosions were the result of spon- taneous combustion in some photo- graphic material contained in the bag or baga
