100,000 MILES A YEAR

The recent vixit of the turbo- electric vessel - "Monarch of Ber- inuda" to Falmouth for her usual survey affords further evidence of the reliability of modern marine electrical equipment under the most exacting conditions.

This 20,500-ton luxury liner was specially designed for the New York-Bermuda service. She has been running more or less con- tinuously for the past six years, travelling over 100,000 miles a year and making about 159 arrivals and departures, half of which are in the difficult port of Hamilton:
