Fynn Tops Batting: Carey The Bowling

By New L.B.W.

Yesterday I dealt with the First Division cricket averages and to- day I shall review the Junior Division.

In the second division W. Rapley of Craigengower was extremely consistent with the bat, scoring 291 runs in ten innings, in one of which he was undefeated.

Fynn of the Navy, who tops the list, J. Tsul of the University, W. Mulcahy of Kowloon, K. M. Rumjahn of the 1.R.C.. C. W. E. Bishop of the Cricket Club, D. Hung of Cralgengower and A. E. Carey of the Police, all also totalled over 200 runs.

C. Pope of the Police and K. L. Ng of the University took by tar more wickets than anybody else. but Carey heads the st.

BATH BEAT BRISTOL IN SCRAPPY MATCH

Redwood Forced To Leave Field In The First Half

Bath beat Bristol at Bath recently by a gail and a penalty goal (8 points) to nothing. Though the result must have been highly grati- fying to Bath and their supporters. It was a disappointing match, and as rough as Rugby can safely be allowed to be.

At times the play closely resembled a dog fight and there was one major casualty. P. W. Redwood was badly hurt before the game was very old, and though he pluckily remained at "his past before moving to the wing and finally leaving the field in the Arst half, it was obvious that his ideas of what was happening. were of the haziest.
