Canton, March 11.

The Japanese marines who oc- cupled Kaolan Island of the coast of Chung Shan district in Kwang- tung have been withdrawn, it is learned from military sources.

On the Peiping-Hankow Railway, JAPANESE MARINES EVACUATE and the Tientsin-Pukow Railway fronts there was a relative lull in in the operations yesterday and forenoon to-day.
