DR. IRENE HO

In connection with the International Women's Day in Hong Kong yesterday, Dr. Irene Ho gave a very interesting broadcast talk from Z.B.W. last night in the course of which she dwelt at great length on the part played by the women of China in the crisis now con- fronting the nation,

Dr. Ho sale that "we all live in an age in which the members of the family of nations are closely dependent upon each other. In- tellectually, economically, socially and politically, the trend is towards International co-operation. Modern methods of communication and recent inventions have made it possible for the peoples of the Earth to come into intimate contact with each other, either in person or through the wonders of the radio.

With such facilities, Mankind should be closely bound together, In bonds of human friendship, "of mutual respect and understanding. of sympathy if not of Love. It is unnecessary for me to remind our 'steners how far short of this we fall; not only in the Orient, but In many other parts of the world,
