PRIOR TO THE UNVEILING CEREMONY, a large gathering assembled in the College Hall when the Hon. Sir Benry Pollock, who has been a member of the College Council for many years, read a statement in which he traced the founding and growth of the Col- lege in the City in 1903 and the removal to Stanley in 1929.

Several heroin cases were beurd by Mr. Q. A. A. Macfadyen, at the Kowloon Magistracy on Saturday when Sentor Revenue Officer A W. Grimmitt prosecuted.
Lau Ying of No. 135 Temple Street. was sentenced to one year's hard labour and recommended for banishment when he was charged with possession of 5,075 heroin pills and keeping a divan.
Chan Chỏi, 35, and Lo Hing, 39, were charged with possession of 30,000 heroin pills and keeping a divan. They were committed to the next Criminal Sessions.
