THE DERBY TICKET
There is still a certain amount of specualtion regarding the iden- tity of the lucky holder of the win-Į ring ticket in the big sweep on the Hong Kong Derby which was rur last Monday.
A very reliable source confirms our earlier report that a syndicate of amahs held the ticket. About 300 tickets were bought and there [were altogether 393 shares be-
tween some 200 amahs.
וי
An amah in the employ of Mr {A, J. V. Ribeiro of No. 1. Gordon Terrace, actually bought the win- jaing ticket and though it has beer (rumoured that Mr. Ribeiro himsel
held the ticket we have been asked to state that this is not the case.
