The ranks of survivors of the Indian Mutiny have been further thinned by the death in January at Much Hadham, Herts, of Mrs. Emily Frances Doll. aged 80. states the Times.
The "only daughter of Captain W. G. B. Tyler. of the 42nd Foot (Black Watch), and ubsequently of the Bengal Staff Corps. Mrs. Doll was born in India. When the Mutiny broke out, she, with her only brother, was taken into the fort of Saugor.
