FOR RAJPUTS
Datta Ram, full-back of the Rajputana Rifles Hockey Eleven, is probably one of the best, if not, actually the beat, shots with a hockey stick at present playing in Hong Kong.
He has before this demonstrated his accuracy in no uncertain man- ner, and yesterday, playing for the Regiment against the Police, he scored two great goals, the second being a perfect shot off a short corner. Lt. Sawal Khan added a third to give the Rajputs victory by three goals to one.

Lt. Sawal Khan was in the form and made good use of the many for him by Lt Pritam Nath at centre. His goal was the result of a brainy more... The shot should actually have been taken by Nath but Khan thought, correctly, that he was in" a better position, and sent in a fine shot which beat Chan Kam-ful.

Harvey is known in Shanghai as "Non-Stop Bob Harvey" and he had an exceptionally fine re- cord when he was in the North- ern port last October-November. He won all his fights there and made himself a firm favourite with Shanghai boxing fans by reason of his very clean and clever boxing.
Always in perfect trim. Harvey keeps in training all the year round and every evening he may be seen "working out" on the flagship.

Datta Ram's shooting has 'al- ready been mentioned but his de-
fence was not as sound as usual.
For the Police, Howlett was a
hard worker and Narwant Bingh took part in some pretty muve- ments, but the other forwards were not very convincing.
The Rajputs opened the scoring through Sawal Khan and not long after Datta Rain added another. Then Man Singh reduced arrears for the Police and the teams cross- ed over with this score.
After the interval the Regiment did most of the attacking and most of the play was in the Police area. The few breakaways made by the Guardians of the Law at this stage mever appeared really dangerous. Shortly before full time Datta Ram scored his second goal from a
short corner.

LT. SKELTON PLAYS ROUSING GAME
In another game on the Navy ground yesterday, two submarine tears met and after some enjoyable, if at times one-sided play, HMS. Grampus defeated HMS. Phoenix by three goals to one. Grampus was the superior team generally but the match was contested in a keen spirit and Phoenix never let

Lt. Skelton, the Navy cricketer. played a rousing game at centre- forward. The third goal was the result of a beautiful centre by him. He had wandered out to the left wing and was bringing the ball up:
It seemed it would almost cer- tainly go out of play, Du! Skelton hooked it back and sent in a per- fect centre which the forward, who had slipped up to his place, put Into the net past the outstretched foot of the Phoenix goalie.
ROYAL SCOTS HAVE MUCH TALENT
The Royal Scots who arrived on Thursday have not quite set- tled down yet, but after they have done so the sporting section of the community may look forward to a good deal of activity from their ranks.
In a conversation with one of the members of the Regiment I learned, that they have a very use- ful football eleven and that in hockey too they are considered above the average,
So far as boxing is concerned I learned that they lost two of their best men' when they left Indla för this station as the two concerned went Home. They are, however, expecting a new draft shortly and It is understood that included in them will be some good boxers.
