MATCH
Cumberland Teams Clash
The tobtball ground at Causeway Bay was crowded with spectators yesterday when the semi-final of the HMS. Cumberland Inter-Part Football competition was played. The Seamen beat the Engine Room Department by two goals to one but they had to fight every minute to keep the meagre lead of one goal.
Play was very fast and the shouts from the side-lines added to the excitement--both sides being equally well supported.
It was a very fine match indeed and the main feature of it was the yery clean game played by both teams.
