Word has been received in Hong Kong that the Dollar liner Pre sident McKinley has sailed from Hoishoto Island with 453 of the wrecked President Hoover. The McKinley left Holshoto at 5.30 p.m. on Sunday.

She will go direct to Manila and is due to arrive this morning. She will be in Hong Kong by December 20. it is expected."

A lifebelt belonging to the Norwegian steamer Stranna. Oslo, which disappeared in October last year on a voyage from Troon, Ayreshire, to Newfoundland, has been found on the west shore di the island of Colonsay. Argyll.

The steamer, after leaving Troon. anchored for a night in Canna Harbour and was seen for the last time when she passed the north end of the island the next day.
