Silver prices dropped 1/16 ye terday for both deliveries, the quotations being 19 5/8 for Ready $1,570 and 19" 1/2 for Forward. Silver advices reported America as hav- Log bought. India sold. A small bustness was done. The market was steady. After the official fix- ing there were American buyers at the rate but sellers were reserved. Ameritan Silver was quoted at 44 3/4 for Spot.
