Research In Malaya Gives Good Promise

Cod liver oil and haliver oil may go out of fashion as vitamini "foods" 11 doctors in the Institute for Medical Research In Kuala Lumpur obtain results in keeping with their expectations. They are working on palm-cil, one of Mala- ya's new, growing products.

Their investigations have so faz shown that palm-cll is rich in carotene, which is a precursor of vitamin A. That is, while the oll itself does not contain that Impor tant vitamin, the carotene may be transformed into the vitamin-in the human body."
