TELEVISION STATION
Rome To Have One In 1938
A television station, on which work will shortly be commenced, has been planned for Rome. The station will enter its operative phase early in 1938.
It will work on a wave-length of 7 metres, and will follow a scan- ning system that is a development of some marconi patents.
The station will be built on the top of Monte Mario, a hill on the Northern limits on Rome. In view of the comparatively amall size of the city, the televised pictures ought to be" able to be seen by- 80% 1106anyone possessing a suitable ap $101 paratus in practically any quarter
