At the outset Mr. Silva said he would reserve his address to 1 later stage and would put his ellent in the box at once.

The razor blades weze manufactured in Germany and the marks were on the blades them- selves as well as on the packets. Two Shanghai Men Charged
The enormous figure of $100,000 was mentioned as bail by Senior Revenue Officer Grimmitt at the Central Magistracy yesterday when two Shanghal · men, Chau Tak fong. 23. and Luk Hang-sang. 32. both unemployed, were charged before Mr. R. Edwards with being in possession of a dangerous drug. heroin, at No. 304 Jaffe Road on Saturday.
Mr. C. Y. Kwan appeared for the first man and Mr. F. I. Zimmern for the second.
In asking for a week's formal remand Mr. Grimmitt said he had been instructed to oppose ball and if His Worship considered granting it, to ask for a sum of at least $100,000.
Mr. Kwan: That is as good as not allowing any at all.
His Worship: One week's formal remand. No ball

BLADES SEIZED
On August 31 he went with the
police to the offices of Messrs Petersen and Company and there seized a quantity of blades with the marks Eagle Brand and with the label as in the case of those bought from Leung Sun-kee. He never gave Petersen and Company permission to apply the Eagle Brand mark" to the blades. His annual sales of these blades were about 20 to 30 cases, each case containing 50,000 blades To his knowledge the Eagle Brand blade was not registered anywhere but in Hong Kong, and no blades were sold outside Hong Kong except through him. Finally, witness af- Armed he never sold any blades to Petersen and Co.
