No. 87 (Fighter) Squadron, one of the expansion units which is now established at the new aero- drome at Debden, Saffron Walden, has just passed the twentieth an- niversary of its original förmation. It was organized at the Central Flying School in September, 1917, by Captain C. J. W. Darwin, Cold- stream Guards and RFC. · from nucleus provided by "D" Squadron. and was trained at Sedgeford and Hounslow.
