CAUGHT IN THE ACT

Ignorant of the fact that he was being watched by a district watch- man, Kwok Fuk-chee, a 28-year- old unemployed, was caught while in the act of extracting the sum of seven dollars from an old man who was watching a hawker mak- ing his sale in Shanghai Street on Saturday.

Kwok was charged before Mr. E. Himsworth at the Kowloon Ma- gistracy yesterday with larceny from the person and was sentenced to six months hard labour.
