DODGE CITY TRAIL

The story of the Texas plains- men blazing u cattle trail across the old southwest is the adventur- ous theme of Columbia's "Dodge City Trail," the new screen attrac- tion which has its run at the Alhambra Theatre to-day, with Charles Starrett, ace of western stars in the leading role, while a new "he-man" singing cowboy. Donald Graysun, and attractive Marlon Weldon are the featured players.

Starrett enacts the role of a

ranch foreman taking a herd of cattle to the railroad center of Dodge City. While on the trail, Starrett and his buddy. Donald Grayson, have, occasion to rescue Marion Weldon, kidnapped during a stage coach holdup by the bandit gang of Al Bridges. The girl. having returned from school in England, is on a surprise visit to the ranch di her father. From her description. Starrett gathers that her father is in reality a member of Bridges' gang.
