Commander J. M. Scott has be- come King's Harbour Master. Ply- mouth, in succession to Comman- der C. H. Lush whose tenure of the post expires. For the past two years Commander Scott has been assistant to the Captain Devon- Assistant Dockyard, and port King's Harbour Master for Devon- port and Berehave.

"L" CLASS SUBMARINES Submarine L 71 has been placed

the sale 1st at Portsmouth. This leaves only eight vessels on the effective list of the once numerous "L" class, which formed the bulk of the British flotillas for several after the war.
