Beaumont, 1,435 U.S. Marines arrived In Shanghal recently in the transport Chaumont which made a record trip from San Diego strongly to reinforce the Shanghai garrison. The upper pictures show the Marines upon landing at the Customs Jetly. At the lower left they are seen approaching the Jetty in the Dollar tender, while lower right is a view of the drum

and Ale band of the Royal Welch Fusillers which contributed to Shanghai's welcome.
