Mr. Mellon died at 8.30 p.m. from uremia and bronchial pneumonia, at the home of Mrs. David Bruce, his daughter, where he moved in July in order to complete arrange- ments for a national art gallery at Washington at a cost of £3,000,000. Members of the family were pre- sent when he passed away. The funeral will be at Pittsburgh.- Beuter.
