Ten thousand shermen on the northern coast of Egypt threaten to go on strike unless the Frontiers Administration raises the ban on Ashing within the vicinity of the Egypto-Libyan frontler.

A delegation of Ashermen called on the Governor of Alexandria, Mohamed Hussein Paiha, to whom, they explained their grievances, pointing out that throughout the Great War and, more recently, during the Abyssinian campaign. they were free to fish in the zone now forbidden.
