The new $125,000 wholesale mar- ket at Kennedy Town constructed by the P.WD., is now completed and has been offodally handed over to the Urban Council.
The first bidding for space by wholesale dealers in fish and other commodities took place' on Thurs- day and they will "move in” during the latter part of this month.
Preparations are already being made for the housing in the Wes- tera Market of some of the retal- lets from the Central Market which will be evacuated by the end of this month for demolition.
