Ko Yau Sing, aged 13 and Ying Sing. aged 26, appeared before Mr. Thomson yesterday, the first de- fendant being charged with lar ceny of a case containing medical instruments while the second de fendant was charged with receive ing stolen goods.
Dr. Ho Tin-lee testified that the case was his. He remarked on the day in question the back tyre of his car was punctured and after he had changed the tyre he
found the case missing.
The second defendant then gave evidence to the effect that he had no knowledge of the case being stolen. His Worship did not be- Leve his evidence and the deten- dants were each sentenced to two
months' hard labour.
