General Kashirin Transferred

Moscow. July '25. The more important changes baye been made in the High Com- mand of the Red Army.

An official announcement says "that General Kashirin, commander of the Caucasian Military District and one of the eight military judges at the recent trial of Mar- shal Tukhachevsky and seven others Soviet geperals who were subsequently executed, has been transferred to an unstated post. He is being replaced in the Cauca- sian command by General Timos- henko, representative of the new school of Red Army officers, man of peasant origin, who rose from the ranks of the Czarist Army and became 3 general during the civil war.
