WITH THE 37TH DIVISION AGAIN READY TO WITHDRAW THE SITUATION IN NORTH CHINA HAS IM. PROVED AND THERE HAS BEEN NO CLASHES TO-DAY. IT MUST BE NOTED THAT ALTHOUGH... THE WITHDRAWAL WOULD EASE LOCAL TENSION THE WIDER ISSUES IN CHINA AND JAPAN WOULD NOT BE AFFECTED.
THERE ARE INDICATIONS THAT BOTH SIDES ARE ADOPTING THE "WAIT AND SEE" ATTITUDE. AND OPINION OF A GROWING COMPROMISE CAN BE FOUND.
