TWO NEW BILLS

Osaka, July 21. A, It is understood that the Finance Ministry has decided to introduce two bills at a special session of Parliament, commencing. July 24, one pertaining to the revaluation of gold reserves in the Bank of Japad, the other creating an. Ex- change Adjustment Fund Account. The rate of revaluation has not yet been disclosed, but it will prob- ably be fixed at 10 per cent. under the world gold market prices.

The gold reserve, amounting to 500,000,000 yen, will be revalued at about 1,300,000,000 yen, thus en- abling the Government to make a pront of 800,000,000, of which 600,000,000 yen will be used as an Exchange Adjustment Fund.

It is understood this action will not mean legal devaluation of the yen as the Government does not intend to decrease the gold content of the coin- Route-
