Senior officers of the Salvation Army are once again concerned with the future of the "General- ship." General Eva Booth," " the present head of the "Army," is 72 years of age. Under the regula- tions she should retire at the age of.73.

So far General Booth has given no sign of her intention to retire- next year, and, in view of the lengthy formalities which preface the election of a successor, Salva- tion Army leaders are hoping for an early announcement,
