ARCTIC FROLIC IN KOWLOON
Splendid
Entertainment
What could possibly be more likely to entice on a very hot June night than an Arctic Frolic? And what more worthy object would be found for a charity frolic, than the Kowloon Union Church?
The spacious grounds of the Dio- cesan Girls' School were Ideal for the delightful entertainment held there last night. Icebergs, and a most realistic Igloo (with an Eski- mo fortune teller within); snow- ball skittles and a table full of
penguins all waiting to have hoops thrown over them, were just a few of the many amusing and cle- ver 'side-shows of this original en- tertainment
The Minister (Rev. J. D. Mac- Lean) was busy lending a hand everywhere, and had many willing helpers to assist him. The grounds were illuminated, and tables, set out on the grass with delicious re- freshments.

In addition to all this a delight- ful variety concert was given, at which a great many local "Stars" appeared.

The first itemi on the programme was very pleasing, for it was a Maypole (sorry, of course I mean # North Pole) dance.given by t- tle girls of the Kowlooh Union
