YESTERDAY'S OFFICIAL QUOTATIONS
The market as a whole continued steady, with rates well maintained. Cements were again in good en- quiry. but with few sellers ap- parent, no business was reported.
Banks were on offer after their recent sharp rise, and sellers lower- ed their price to $1,975.
Manila advices were dull to wards the end of the day's trading, and though closing steady, the ap- pearance of rates was not robust.
