There was more life again in to- 'day's market, in which rates were well maintained. Business Was transacted in most sections of the market, though not on a wide scale.

Cements at $15.10 are slightly improved. Buyers of Docks ad- vanced their rate. "to $304, with little response from sellers. Dairies. were sold at $25.

The Manila market was unin- teresting, but rates there were like- wise well maintained.
