Four were detained for the rob- bery committed at the Sheung Sun Cafe on June 1 when Ave men armed with a revolver and a dagger bolted with $125 from the till.

Another four who were believed to have robbed a" 54-year-old widow, If Foon, residing at an unnumbered hut at Wong Chuck Hung Village on May 9 of $1.30, are in custody.

Charges will be framed against these men in due course.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY

A highway robbery was reported to the police by an amah, servant of Mr. Sayers, of the P.W.D., who was the victim of the incident.

Full details of the occurrence had not yet been disclosed by the police who are now still carrying on investigations, but it is believed that considerable forte was used. A sum of $7.35 and a silver ring were reported lost.
