Silver advices reported India as having bought. China sold. The market was quiet. After the official fixing the market ap- peared steadier. India was સ small buyer pt 1/16 over the quôt- ed rate.
The London-New York cross- rate was quoted at 494.32. New- York-London was quoted at 494 S/B.
