Chinese Dragons

Much has already been written about the wonderful Chinese Dragona which have added so much to the galety of life and to the pleasure of the multitude, but an interesting Incident of their last appearance in the streets is worthy of mention.

L

Passing through Statue Square for the last time on Friday night the two most important Dragons made obeisance in conventional fashion to the Cenotaph and to the statue of Queen Victoria. pausing for a suitable time before the statues and going through a regular ceremonial in front of them.

Then they had a last final fing on Statue Pier gambolling in and out of the pillars and cofling and uneclling in grand style.

Everyone speaks with praise ht the skill and "technique" shewn by their crews, and many say it would be a very good idea to send one of these wonderful creatures to Lon- don to take part in the Lord Mayor's Show, so that people in England could enjoy their anties.
