The new dance team at the Gloucester made a most successful deout on Saturday night. Modie and Lemaux have come here from shanghai, where they have just completed a brilliant engagement at the New Ciro Club, and they at unce proved themselves to be most accomplished dancers.

Modie is very tall, fair and graceful, but Lemaux is even' tall- er, and whuls his partner about with the greatest ease,

Their first number was a moat. attractive Tango, for which Modle wore the most enchanting dress of glittering night-blue sequins with a deep nounce of chiffon which

ooked marveliqus as she danced.

The second dance was a very gay fox-trat called "Step-In," in which the "timing" of the two dancers was particularly good. For this dance Modle wore the most attrac- tive dress of swirling chiffon of bright tourquoise with big spots of palest rose-pink.
