ed during the past week, but in- terest in the local market has been maintained, as have prices, with a persistent demand evident for certain stocks. 11

Electrics were dealt in heavily at 361, while Cements were in good enquiry on most days, being trad- ed in up to $16.00. Renewed in- terest was also shown in Wharves, which changed hands at $118.
