OFFICIAL QUOTATIONS
There was more interest dis- played in the local market to-day. Cements were again steady, with buyers at $15.40 after business re- corded at the same rate; Hotels changed hands in quantity at $7.20 and Docks improved to $30 after business done at $291.
The Manila, market opened firm, and remained strong until just before the close. Very consider- able rises took place in most stocks, and the general level was decidedly higher than on the pre- vious day. Closing rates only slightly below the best, seen during both session.
