Development work carried out by the Universal Exploration, and Mining Company on its property in Maliit, Camarines Norte, during 1936 met with encouraging results. the annual report of the company states. Folke H. Kihlstedt, super- vising engineer, states that the possibilities of developing. favourable mine are very favour- able.
The year's work, in brief, con- sisted of, the following:
The Main shaft, together with work closer to the surface in that part of the claims, was closed down and temporarily abandoned about November 1, when conclu- sive results were considered to have been reached.
