(BY LONGSHOREMAN'). During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday, the freight returns, received from the Har- bour Office. showed a moderate tonnage movement.

with British steamers carrying 2,247 tons. Through cargo for porta be- yond the Colorty amounted 22,572 tons, of which 4,271 tons were carried by British steamers. Asiatic deck passengers entering the Colony during the twenty-four hours ended at 9 a.m. yesterday were 1.582. of which 300 were from British steamers.
