EXHIBITION OF PORTRAITS
A splendid and varied exhibition of portraits was displayed by Miss Gytha Owen, the young New Zealand artist, and neice of Wil- fred Frith, the well-known Royal Academician, at the Root Garden of the Hong Kong Hotel yester- day, "and attracted quite a number of interested visitors.
The exhibition consisted mainly of oli paintings, portraiture, studies for murals in water colours and a few nudes in less familiar conte-crayon (brown pencil).
