Victim Tells Story
The perilous work of rescuing girls undertaken by the members of the Japan Rescue Mission, was described to. "The Bulletin in Glasgow by the mother of one of the women injur ed in the raid by roughs on the mission`at" Filgashimorarà, in the -Osaka Prefecture.
The injured woman is Miss Isabella Torbet (39), whose home is at 80 Esslemont Avenue, Scotstoun. Ber mother, Mrs. Torbet, said that the first intimation she received that ber daughter had been injured was a telegram from Miss Kirkaldý, matron of the Japan Rescue Mission, to Mr. Hart, superlaten- dent of the Bethel, Mission in Partick.
