SCHUSCHNIGG TAKES

ON ADDITIONAL POST

Minister Of Security

Dismissed

Vienna, March 25.

Chancellor Schuschnigg has dis- missed Neustaedter ... Stuermer. Minister of Security.

The dismissal is the culmination of the aggravation of Austro- German, relations which had been going on for sometime behind the sceries, and which recently mani fested itself in a sharp newspaper, war between the two countries.

Neustaedter Stuermer was called Into the Cabinet in October 1936 as the representative of the Austrian Nazis. The appointment was one 1. of the consequences of the Austro- German agreement of "June 11. 1936. His Nazi sympathies brought him in sharp conflict with the Chancellor.

Dr. Schuschnigg is himself tak- Ing over the Security Portfolio, thus further increasing his per- zonal power,

the since besides Chancellorship he already holds the portfolios of War and Foreign Affaira.

The actual work of the Security Ministry, however, will be carried

out by Dr. Skubl who for the past two-and-a-half years has been Pelice Chief in Vienna. He is a personal friend of Dr. Dolfuss and a strong opponent of the Nazis.—

"DO WE LOVE GOD?" The preacher then asked: "Do we love God or do we hate Him? We say we believe in religion-oh yes. But what is that hardness and

narrowness, that self-righteous- ness, that areality that makes our religion such a formal thing? Can we stand His teaching with its call to complete self-dedication and loyalty to the will of God? If not our place must be with His accusers. The Cross of Christ is the most formidable challenge in the world."

"Or are we among the judges?" the preacher asked again. "They were the most frightened of all. They knew he was innocent but they refused to do their duty. So, of them shuffles; another
