(BY LONGSHOREMAN). The freight returns, received trom the Harbour Ofice during the 24 hours ended at 9 yesterday, showed a tonnage movement.

The "total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 3,124 tons. with British steamers carrying 223 tons. Through cargo for ports be yond the Colony amounted to 31.574 tons of which 5.191 tons were carried by British steamers Asiatic deck passengers entering the Colony during the twenty-four hours ended at 9am. yesterday were 465, of which 303 were from British steamers.
