The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 25,257 tona, with British steamers carrying 7.717. tons. Through ëargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 20,158 tons, of which 5,378 tons were carried by British steamiers. Asiatic deck passengers entering the Colony during the twenty-four hours ended at 9.00 am, yesterday were 536, of which only 12 were from British steamers. *.
