Hong Kong. Feb. 8. The price for Ready Silver was unchanged over the week-end but the Forward rate rose 1/18, the quotations being 20 1/16 for both deliveries. Silver advices report- ed India as having bought. China sold. The market closed steady.
The London-New York, cross- rate was quoted at 4.89 1/4 New York-London was quoted at 4.88 11/32.

A small business was reported at 1/2 15/16 for June delivery. The market closed with small sellers at 1/2 15/16 for cash and 1/2 29/32 February-July, buyers at 1/2 31/32 February-April and 1/2 15/16 May-July,
