A strange drama of sàn sea is being enacted and mystery has
| been deepened by the discovery of another body. This is the | seventh corpse to be washed ashore during the last few days, and it was found on the beach neär Tranche-sur-Mer on the French At- Lantic coast.
Like the six others discovered previously, the body was fettered with ropes, a remarkable feature being that the hands and feet of the victim were tied.
On investigation it was found that the name "la. Rigane (Cádiz)”. was sewn in the victim's clothes. A bill for five hundred pesetas and three others for one hundred pesetas each were hidden in his shirt cuffs.
