Press Criticises Soviet Russian Reply

Rome, December 30.

The Italian reply to the Franco-British note regarding non- hervention in Spain will, according to informed quarters bere, state to acceptance. In principle of the French Government's proposals, ht will make certain reservations necessitated by the actual state o affairs now prevailing in Spain. Generally speaking, it is said, the Italian reply will follow the same lines as Germany's answer.

The reports published by various papers abroad, according to watch the Italian Government advised the German Government to alandon the moral support of General Franco's Government, are enphatically denied here.
