Silver advices re- ported India as having bought and China sold. The cash market was dull but the forward market was steady. After the official sx- ing there was some Indian in- quiries resulting in business at 21 5/18 for forward delivery.

The market closed steady. American Silver was quoted at 451 for Spot. The London-New York cross- rate

quoted at 4.911. New York-London was quoted at 401 19/32.
