The Peak School held their prize-giving at the Peak Club yesterday when the children pre sented a delightful, programme of entertainment.

"Beehive" Wool
Wong Koon and Company, haberdeshery dealers were sum moned before Mr. E. Himsworth yesterday for: the unlawful possession of forged wool labels on pecember 10, and (3) unlawfully selling wool bearing a forged trade- mark.
The complainants were Messrs. Jardine. Matheson and Co.
Mr. W. A. MacKinlay represented the complainants, and said that on December 9 a representative of the Jardine, Matheson's wen, ta the defendant frm and bought ilb. of wool on Instruction. The trademark on its was so like that of "Bechive" wool as to easily de ceive. The following day a search was made at the shop and four forged labels were found in the dustbin in the backyard, and a large quantity of unlabelled wool wils found in the shop.

CHRISTMAS PLAYS
The children of the Kowloon Junior School presented their Christinas programme of plays St. Andrew's yesterday in the 'Church Hail, Kowloon, when the proceeds from the sale of pro- grammes and tickets for friends were given to the Society for the Protection of Children. Five short plays were acted and their per- fornance spoke creditably of the efforts of the producers and the players themselves.
Among the guests who were pre- sent were Lady Caldecott, and Sir Atholl and Lady MacGregor.

John Wood has lately won a scholarship worth £80 a year to Shrewsbury. and June Ralston who left the Peak School this year. was awarded an exhibition on her entrance examination at Malvern College.
